Our Farming Philosophy
At the heart of our farm is a simple belief: that healthy land produces healthy animals, which in turn nourish healthy people. We are a small family farm committed to stewarding our land with care, raising animals with respect, and feeding our community with integrity.
We began with laying hens and meat chickens, choosing to raise them on pasture where they can express their natural behaviors—scratching, foraging, and soaking up the sun. Their movement across the land not only builds soil fertility but also fosters a deeper connection between us, our animals, and the earth that sustains us.
Our long-term vision reaches beyond poultry. We are in the process of transitioning former fields of corn and soybeans into diverse, perennial pasture. With time and intention, these regenerating fields will become home to grass-fed cattle, raised entirely on what the land provides, without synthetic inputs or confinement.
Regenerative agriculture is not just a method for us—it is a mindset. We work with nature rather than against it, focusing on soil health, biodiversity, and closed-loop systems. Instead of depleting the land, we aim to leave it richer with each passing year. Our practices include rotational grazing and composting—all in service of rebuilding the soil, cycling nutrients naturally, and sequestering carbon.
We are building more than a farm. We are cultivating a legacy of resilience, transparency, and care. We believe small farms like ours have a role to play in healing landscapes, supporting rural economies, and redefining what it means to eat well.
